Tea House Psychotherapy
Steep in reflection. Step into yourself.
This is a space where you can finally exhale, a sanctuary for authentic, courageous healing.
No performative zen. No cultural appropriation. No pressure to be polished.
Just authenticity, honesty, and reflection.
A safe place to begin again
A place where you can come in messy, ashamed, hopeful, uncertain, and still be fully seen.
We work with adults from all backgrounds who are ready for meaningful change. Our team of therapists is future-focused and action-oriented. We care deeply about your healing and will partner with you to help you thrive.

About our founder + lead therapist, Cheryl Tien
Cheryl’s approach begins with who she is: a daughter of Chinese–Vietnamese refugees, a Bay Area native, a lifelong learner, and a creative healer. These identities shape the way she will show up with you—authentic, genuine, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed.
Alongside 10+ years working across clinical, academic, and healthcare settings, she’s supported individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of challenges.
Outside of her professional activities, Cheryl enjoys crocheting and knitting, video games, tabletop gamers, and being an “accidental” dog mom.
